Acceptable use policy

Who this applies to

This policy applies to everyone who visits florapdf.com or uses its tools, whether the tool runs in your browser or on our servers. There are no user accounts, so the policy applies to every request and every file that reaches the service. By using the site you agree to follow it.

What you may do

You may use the tools for lawful personal, educational and business purposes: merging, splitting, converting, compressing, editing, signing, protecting and otherwise working on documents that you own or are entitled to use.

• Process files for which you hold the rights or have the permission of the rights holder.
• Use the tools through a normal web browser at a reasonable pace.
• Share links to florapdf.com pages, following our copyright notice.

Prohibited content and conduct

You must not use PDFlora to process, create or distribute anything that is unlawful, or in a way that harms others. In particular, the following are prohibited.

• Unlawful content, or use of the service to commit or support an unlawful act, including fraud and forgery of documents.
• Infringing the copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights of others, including processing material that you have no right to copy or convert.
• Uploading or creating malware, malicious scripts or files designed to attack systems or exploit vulnerabilities in PDF readers or our servers.
• Using the service to violate the privacy of others, for example by collecting, exposing or manipulating personal data without a lawful basis.

Access controls and passwords

You must not use the tools to bypass access controls, encryption or passwords on files that you have no right to open, copy, print or change. The Unlock PDF tool is provided for files that you are entitled to open. It requires the correct password to open a protected file, and it does not guess or crack passwords.

Removing owner restrictions from a document that belongs to someone else, in order to copy or reuse it against their wishes or the law, is a breach of this policy.

Protecting the service and other users

Four converters (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HTML to PDF) run on servers with limited capacity. To keep them available for everyone, you must not do any of the following.

• Send automated, scripted or high-volume requests, or use bots or scrapers, without our written permission.
• Overload the temporary-processing servers, for example with very large, deeply nested or intentionally malformed files, or by many simultaneous jobs.
• Attempt to access, guess or interfere with other users' jobs, temporary files or results.
• Probe, scan or test the security of the service, or try to circumvent size limits, timeouts, rate limits or other technical protections.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or extract non-public source code or internal interfaces, except where the law or an open-source licence gives you that right.

Consequences of a breach

If we believe that this policy has been broken, we may, without prior notice and at our discretion, slow down, rate-limit or block the requests, network addresses or traffic sources involved, refuse to process a file, suspend a tool, or remove content from the site. Because there are no accounts, these measures are technical rather than account-based.

Where required by law, or where it is needed to protect people, we may cooperate with the competent authorities. We do not keep user files, so we usually cannot provide their content.

Reporting abuse

If you see abuse of the service, a security problem or content that breaks this policy, write to hello@capriapp.app with a short description, the page address or time when it happened and any details that help us understand the problem. Please do not send us files containing malware or unlawful material.

For complaints about alleged copyright infringement, please follow the procedure on our copyright infringement notice page (DMCA).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service or the risks change. The version published on florapdf.com is the current one. Continued use after an update means that you accept the new version. This page is a description of our rules and is not legal advice.
