How it works
Step 1: Choose a fillable PDF form and wait while its fields are detected.
Step 2: Fill in the fields in the form panel: type text, tick boxes, choose options.
Step 3: Decide whether to flatten the form so the answers become permanent.
Step 4: Save and download the completed PDF.
Real form fields, not typing on the page
Many official PDFs contain interactive fields defined inside the file, known as AcroForm fields: text boxes, checkboxes, radio buttons, drop-down menus and lists. This tool finds those fields and lists them as a form beside the page preview, so you can work through them in order instead of hunting for the right spot on the page. Values you enter are written into the fields, and the saved file opens with your answers in place.
You can also choose to flatten the result. Flattening turns the answers into fixed page content so they can no longer be changed and look the same in every viewer, which suits a form you are about to send or print. Leave it off if you want the recipient, or yourself later, to keep editing the fields.
If the PDF has no interactive fields, the tool says so. Many forms are just a picture of a form; in that case use Edit PDF to type text directly onto the page.

Good to know
- XFA forms, an older form technology found in some government and banking documents, are not supported. If the PDF asks you to upgrade your viewer, it is likely an XFA form.
- JavaScript-driven calculations and validations inside the form do not run, so totals may not update automatically; check them yourself.
- A PDF with no interactive fields cannot be filled in here. The tool will tell you to use Edit PDF to type onto the page.
- Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first with Unlock PDF.

Does Fill PDF Form upload my answers?
No. The form is filled in your browser and the finished PDF is created on your device. The personal details you type are not sent to a server.
How do I know if my PDF is a fillable form?
Open it here: if it has interactive fields, they are detected and listed next to the preview. If none are found, the PDF is a flat document and Edit PDF is the right tool.
What does flattening the form do?
It writes your answers into the page as fixed content so nobody can change them, and every viewer shows them the same way. Without flattening, the fields stay editable.
Why is the PDF I received not fillable?
Many forms are sent as scans or exports without fields. Use Edit PDF to type over the printed lines, and add a checkmark stamp for boxes.
Can I sign the form after filling it in?
Yes. Fill the fields first, then open the saved file in Sign PDF to add a visual signature. Doing it in that order means nothing changes after you sign.
